1. Our Commitment
Seeding Hope Home Healthcare Agency is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including older adults, people with disabilities, and the families who care for them. Many of our visitors are seniors or family members supporting a senior, so accessibility matters to our mission.
2. Our Goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our target standard.
3. What We've Done
We have prioritized readable font sizes and strong colour contrast; clear headings and consistent navigation; descriptive text alternatives on images; keyboard-friendly navigation with visible focus states; forms with clear labels; and a mobile-friendly responsive layout. Large, plain-spoken text and a simple structure were chosen deliberately for older visitors.
4. Known Limitations
We are still working through the site; some third-party tools we may add later, such as a live chat widget, would be outside our direct control and may not meet every guideline; and some downloadable documents such as PDFs or Word files may not be fully accessible yet.
