Home care FAQ for families in Garner, Raleigh & Clayton, NC.
Here are the questions families ask us most often. If you don’t see yours here, call or send a message — we’re happy to talk it through.
01What does “non-medical” home care mean?
Non-medical home care helps with everyday living rather than skilled nursing or clinical treatment. That can include personal routines, companionship, respite, homemaker tasks, errands, and support with a family’s established home routine. Seeding Hope caregivers do not provide skilled nursing or medical care.
02How much does care cost?
The right schedule and services depend on your family’s situation, so we talk through your needs before discussing options. Contact us for a free consultation and a clear conversation about care planning and payment.
03What areas do you serve?
Serving Garner, Raleigh, and Clayton — plus families across Wake, Johnston, Vance, Harnett, and Cumberland Counties.
04Is caregiver availability really 24/7?
We offer 24/7 caregiver availability based on scheduling and care needs, plus a 24/7 live answering service at (984) 231-1623 so you can reach a real person day or night.
05How are caregivers vetted?
Caregivers go through a background check, screening, experience and reference review, orientation, and Seeding Hope Academy training. Ongoing requirements include annual refreshers and background check updates as applicable.
06What is Safe Harbor respite care?
Safe Harbor is our respite care service for family caregivers who need a dependable pause. A caregiver can provide companionship and non-medical routine support while you rest, work, attend an appointment, or take care of your own needs.
07Can you help someone living with dementia?
Yes. Dementia home care can include calm companionship, redirection, routine-based personal support, meal reminders, and family communication. We focus on familiar rhythms and respectful support at home.
08How do we get started?
Start by calling (984) 231-1623 or completing the contact form. We’ll listen, answer questions, and schedule a free consultation so you can decide what feels right for your family.
09Do you accept insurance or other payment options?
Payment and coverage vary by family and plan. During your consultation, we can talk through general payment questions and the information you may want to confirm with your insurer or benefits provider. We do not promise coverage.
